Just visit the upside-down Spidey train booth at SM Cinema Megamall from April 15 to 24 and at SM Cinema Mall of Asia from April 25 to May 5, take a photo of yourself at the booth, switch it around and tweet tagging @sm_cinema and using the hashtags #TheAmazingSpiderman2atSMCinema and #JCBPH.

Fans also get the chance to win IMAX tickets by posting their creative entry on JCB Philippine’s Facebook page  www.facebook.com/JCBPhilippines  with the caption “I want SM IMAX tickets of The Amazing Spider-Man 2” and tagging www.facebook.com/SMCINEMA

Contest Mechanics:

2.      Contest starts April 15 and will run until May 5, 2014.

Marvel's “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” returns Chris Evans as the iconic Superhero character Steve Rogers / Captain America this March 26. Filipino fans get the chance to be among the first to see the film as the Philippines is one of the countries that will have an early release of this much-awaited Marvel movie.

The film is set after the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers. Marvel’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. “MALEFICENT” REVEALS TWO NEW POSTERS

Walt Disney Pictures has just revealed two new one-sheet art (domestic and international) for its fantasy adventure “Maleficent” starring Angelina Jolie.
 Featured below, the domestic poster shows Jolie hypnotically staring into the viewer as the title character's iconic horns beautifully cut the solid white background. 

 Meanwhile, the international version features an image of Sleeping Beauty in addition to Maleficent.

The film explores the untold story of Disney's most iconic villain from the classic “Sleeping Beauty" and the elements of her betrayal that ultimately turn her pure heart to stone. Driven by revenge and a fierce desire to protect the moors over which she presides, Maleficent cruelly places an irrevocable curse upon the human king's newborn infant Aurora. As the child grows, Aurora is caught in the middle of the seething conflict between the forest kingdom she has grown to love and the human kingdom that holds her legacy. Maleficent realizes that Aurora may hold the key to peace in the land and is forced to take drastic actions that will change both worlds forever.

SM Cinema Gets Exclusive Rights to Screen the Critically Acclaimed Survival Drama “All is Lost”

Academy Award® winner Robert Redford returns to the big screen in “All Is Lost,” an open-water thriller about one man’s battle for survival against the elements after his sailboat is destroyed at sea. About “All is Lost”

Written and directed by Academy Award^® nominee J.C. Chandor (Margin Call) with a musical score by Alex Ebert (Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros), the film is a gripping,visceral and powerfully moving tribute to ingenuity and resilience.

Deep into a solo voyage in the Indian Ocean, an unnamed man (Redford) wakes to find his 39-foot yacht taking on water after a collision with a shipping container left floating on the high seas. With his navigation equipment and radio disabled, the man sails unknowingly into the path of a violent storm. Despite his success in patching the breached hull, his mariner’s intuition and a strength that belies his age, the man barely survives the tempest.

Using only a sextant and nautical maps to chart his progress, he is forced to rely on ocean currents to carry him into a shipping lane in hopes of hailing a passing vessel. But with the sun unrelenting, sharks circling and his meager supplies dwindling, the ever-resourceful sailor soon finds himself staring his mortality in the face.
