To the winners of #RuroKenSMCinema, here's how to claim your passes.

 You can claim your 2 event passes to the red carpet procession at IMAX Megamall Admin Office. Please bring an ID. Look for Grace. The red carpet procession will be held at SM Megamall Event Center on August 6.You can claim the passes until 2pm tomorrow, Aug.6. Gates will open at 4pm. Come on time as you still have to claim the access tag at the registration area.

In order to express our hospitality and gratitude toward our guests, we encourage everyone to learn and practice these guidelines of the established fan culture of Japan. The way the Japanese people treat their celebrities is different from what we are used to, but acknowledging their culture is how we may properly show the guests our respect. Below are reminders for our fans on August 6:


General Guidelines:

Please understand that our celebrities are not used to shot-gun photo-ops and/or “selfies”. Let us respect their privacy and honor their culture.
Our celebrities will only engage with the fans during the Red Carpet Walk.  We will refrain fans from asking our celebrities for “selfies” especially those positioned nearest to the barricades as this would hinder their path during the Red Carpet Procession.
Your warm reception would be highly appreciated but please maintain an orderly conduct at all times.
For cosplayers  who will be arriving in their costumes, please note that SM will not allow  sharp, weapon-like, and/or huge props inside the mall.  Please refrain from bringing them in any entrance of the mall as this will only be confiscated.

At the start of the program on stage, please turn off your camera flash. There will be ample time to take pictures of the celebrities during photocalls which will be announced by our host.


For SM event pass holders:
Event pass will only be honored at the enclosed area reserved for the promo winners at the SM Megamall Event Center, not in the movie premiere.
Gates will be open at 4pm and close at 5pm.  You will be given an access tag when you present your ticket at the gate.  Access tag must be worn at all times.  
We are anticipating a lot of people to be in the venue and would congest the fan area gate.  We recommend that ticket holders arrive early to ensure their entry in the enclosed fan reception area.

Take note that the passes are only valid for the red carpet procession, not the Press screening.

Take The Amazing Group Selfie Challenge!

Super friends assemble and take THE AMAZING GROUP SELFIE!

Visit SM North EDSA, Megamall, MOA or Fairview Cinema Lobby. Present your The Amazing Spider-Man SM Cinema tickets and come up with your most AMAZING GROUP SELFIE POSE using the backdrop and World Traveller props. Post your pictures on Facebook with the hashtag #TheAmazingpose. Like and tag World Traveller and SM Cinema fan pages. We’ll choose 1 entry for each participating branch. The winning group will receive 3 World Traveller luggage. You can submit your entries until 3:00pm of May 4, 2014.

All Participants shall receive "I am a World Traveller" stickers and a 15% World Traveller discount coupon.

The Amazing Spider-Man Upside Down Booth

Runaway trains, upside-down kisses and more… you can recreate Spider-Man's most amazing movie moments or create your own at our Spidey train booth! You also get a chance to win a private screening at SM Mall of Asia’s Director’s Club Cinema. Just visit the upside-down Spidey train booth at SM Cinema Megamall from April 15 to 24 and at SM Cinema Mall of Asia from April 25 to May 5, take a photo of yourself at the booth, switch it around and tweet tagging @sm_cinema and using the hashtags #TheAmazingSpiderman2atSMCinema and #JCBPH.

Fans also get the chance to win IMAX tickets by posting their creative entry on JCB Philippine’s Facebook page  www.facebook.com/JCBPhilippines  with the caption “I want SM IMAX tickets of The Amazing Spider-Man 2” and tagging www.facebook.com/SMCINEMA

Contest Mechanics:

1.      The contest is open to all SM Cinema Twitter followers, and JCB & SM Cinema Facebook fans.

2.      Contest starts April 15 and will run until May 5, 2014.

3.      Fans are encouraged to Visit Spidey’s train booth at SM Cinema Megamall lobby (April 15 to 24) and at SM Cinema MOA lobby (April 25 to May 5).

4.      Entrants must take a photo of themselves at the booth, which has the reverse Amazing Spider-Man set-up, as backdrop. They will reverse the image and upload it to Twitter tagging @sm_cinema and using the hashtags #TheAmazingSpiderman2atSMCinema and #JCBPH.

5.      Entrants will also be encouraged to post their photos on JCB’s Facebook timeline   www.facebook.com/JCBPhilippines tagging SM Cinema’s Facebook page www.facebook.com/SMCinema

11.  Rights of Work: The entrants own the rights to their work. However, by joining the contest, they agreed that their photo entries may be used in SM Cinema and JCB initiatives in the future.

Marvel's “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” returns Chris Evans as the iconic Superhero character Steve Rogers / Captain America this March 26. Filipino fans get the chance to be among the first to see the film as the Philippines is one of the countries that will have an early release of this much-awaited Marvel movie.

The film is set after the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers. “MALEFICENT” REVEALS TWO NEW POSTERS

Walt Disney Pictures has just revealed two new one-sheet art (domestic and international) for its fantasy adventure “Maleficent” starring Angelina Jolie.
 Featured below, the domestic poster shows Jolie hypnotically staring into the viewer as the title character's iconic horns beautifully cut the solid white background. 

 Meanwhile, the international version features an image of Sleeping Beauty in addition to Maleficent.

The film explores the untold story of Disney's most iconic villain from the classic “Sleeping Beauty" and the elements of her betrayal that ultimately turn her pure heart to stone. Driven by revenge and a fierce desire to protect the moors over which she presides, Maleficent cruelly places an irrevocable curse upon the human king's newborn infant Aurora. As the child grows, Aurora is caught in the middle of the seething conflict between the forest kingdom she has grown to love and the human kingdom that holds her legacy. Maleficent realizes that Aurora may hold the key to peace in the land and is forced to take drastic actions that will change both worlds forever.

SM Cinema Gets Exclusive Rights to Screen the Critically Acclaimed Survival Drama “All is Lost”

Academy Award® winner Robert Redford returns to the big screen in “All Is Lost,” an open-water thriller about one man’s battle for survival against the elements after his sailboat is destroyed at sea.
