Who isn’t charmed by Sophie in
the big-screen version of the musical Mamma
Mia, Valerie in Red Riding Hood and
Sylvia Weis in In Time? Amanda
Seyfried never fails to charm the audience even in her ditsy and meanie Karen
Smith role in Mean Girls, and her
lovely character in both Letters to
Juliet and Dear John. She,
unarguably, is one of the successful young actresses in Hollywood today--owing
to her remarkable acting skills, and perhaps to her innocent-yet-sexy looks.
Born on December 3, 1985, Amanda
Louise Seyfried grew up in Allentown, PA. She started modeling at the age of
eleven and acting at the age of fifteen.
Her movies include Nine Lives
(2005), Boogie Woogie (2008) and
Nicholas Sparks' tearjerker Dear John
(2010).
Amanda Seyfried returns to the
big screen in the drama-thriller film Gone.
Gone is directed by Heitor Dhalia.
The cast includes Jennifer Carpenter, Wes Bentley and Emily Wickersham. The film is distributed by
Pioneer Films and will be screened EXCLUSIVELY at SM Cinema beginning May 30th.
In Gone, Amanda Seyfried plays Jill, a kidnapping survivor. Two years
ago, she was taken to a remote wood where she was put in a deep hole. She
escaped, but no one believed her story.
Two years after that horrible incident, she now lives with her sister
Molly. One morning, her sister has gone
missing. Jill is convinced that the one who kidnapped her a couple of years ago
is also responsible for her sister’s disappearance. And like what happened
years ago, nobody believes her. Jill knows how the kidnapper works and without
the police to back her up, she sets off to rescue her sister. The clock is
ticking; she only has 12 hours to hunt down the criminal and save Molly. Will
she be able to save her sister or will the kidnapper succeed in killing her this
time?
